Summer Shabbat Eve Service Times

Every Friday night June 2 – September 1 at 6:00 p.m.

5:30 p.m. Kabbalat Panim – Greeting Time. This time before services is called in Hebrew “Kabbalat Panim” – literally “Welcoming Faces”; it is a social time for eating and mingling. We will serve light snacks.

6:00 p.m. Hour-long Shabbat Service. We will begin in Margolis Hall with song, candle lighting, Kiddush, and motzi, and then sing our way into the sanctuary accompanied by guitar. Weather permitting, we will go outside to our Perwein-Zaikainer Terrace for services.

7:00-7:30 p.m. Oneg Shabbat. For those who wish to stay, there will be more light snacks and a few desserts. We encourage all to connect with friends or family and go to a Shabbat dinner.
