Our Mission is to pursue social action and justice through:

Mount Zion’s Board of Directors signed this Brit Olam on behalf of the congregation in June 2017. It was reaffirmed by the Board in June 2019. We are one of over 250 congregations that have signed it as a way to ground our community work outside our walls in our Jewish values.

Mount Zion is a MN Interfaith Power & Light Climate Justice Congregation. Climate Justice Congregations are communities of faith and spiritual practice that are committed to living out their faith and values through effective and sustained action on climate justice.

Social Justice Statements

Mount Zion Temple has come together on many important issues and made our voice known through statements. Please click here to see some recent past resolutions the synagogue has taken. All action taken on these issues begins with a discussion and a vision of a better world. If you’d like to see Mount Zion Temple take action on an issue, please contact our Tzedek leaders.
