The Parents and Tots program at Mount Zion Temple is designed for families with children from birth through 6 years old.  We offer to families with young children a forum for prayer, religious observance, and community connection.

Our services and events provide a wonderful way to meet and socialize with other young families in a Jewish setting.  You are welcome to join us for any or all of our programs, which are open to both Temple members and non-members.  Grandparents and expectant parents are welcome too!  Please bring your friends who are looking for quality Jewish experiences for young families.

We hold Tot Shabbat at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Lap children, toddlers, and preschoolers are all welcome!  Older siblings may also participate. We begin with a lively Shabbat morning service led by one of our clergy and a songleader. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for kiddush, motzi, and a nut-free, healthy, vegetarian potluck lunch. If you are able, please bring a dish or item to share (but please come even if you can’t!). There will also be a craft or activity for the children. This informal time gives families an opportunity to schmooze. No RSVP necessary!

Please visit our Facebook page for up-to-date information about our events! If you have any questions or would like to receive reminder e-mails before each event, please email or call the office at 651-698-3881.
