Antisemitism: What is it? Why now? What now?

This session takes as a given that critique of Israel’s government is kosher. The question is when does critique of Israel cross the line into antisemitism? There is also the question of what do we mean by Zionism and Anti-Zionism? Many people have tried to find language to define these categories. We will invite three speakers who represent three public definitions of antisemitism (IHRA, Nexus, Jerusalem) — two of which were adopted recently by the White House’s National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism — to help us talk about the relationship between views about the nation-state of Israel and/or its government and antisemitism.
