Highlights of the Civil Rights Movement: A Jewish Tour of the South

Travel with Cantor Spilker and Etgar 36 on an inspiring journey to Atlanta, Montgomery, and Selma. Visit historic sites, learn about people and events that shaped the early Civil Rights Movement, celebrate Shabbat in a Montgomery synagogue, attend a service at Ebenezer Baptist Church, and much more. Limited space, registration on a first come first serve basis.

The full trip cost is $940*.  The amount is based on double occupancy. Please add $195 for a single room. First payment deadline – $470 by Dec 15. Please fill out the registration form and mail a check, payable to Etgar 36, to Mount Zion Temple (Attn: Julie Beckman, 1300 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105). Unfortunately we cannot take credit card payments.

Balance payment deadline — $470 by Feb 1.

Airfare is not included in the cost of the trip and should be purchased by each individual participant. PLEASE PURCHASE TRIP INSURANCE!

Minimum of 25 participants.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellation before December 15 – Full refund.
Cancellation between December 15 and January 31 – $50 fee.
Cancellations after January 31 – NO REFUND.

*Price includes all meals [beginning with Friday breakfast and ending with Sunday breakfast, includes entrée and non-alcoholic drink; alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and desserts are extra]), all ground transportation, hotels, admissions and programming costs.
