A Chanukah Parade Publicizing the Miracle of Chanukah

Join us in a car parade along Summit Avenue, from Mount Zion to the Capitol. Decorate your car in whatever fun, fancy, or funky Chanukah way you’d like, light-up decorations encouraged. Governor Tim and Gwen Walz will join us on Zoom for the candle lighting and then wave to us as we drive by the Governor’s mansion.
Cars will line up in front of Mount Zion at 4:30, and we’ll begin with candle-lighting on torches in front of Mount Zion. We will have a Zoom link to listen on your phone (and for those watching from home)! Each car will receive a bag of Chanukah treats and surprises, then we’ll be on our way, spreading the light of Chanukah in St. Paul, advertising the miracle of religious freedom.
Register by 4 pm on Friday, December 11. This will be a contact-free event. All participants will remain in their cars for the entire time.
