Heading Home: A Tale of Team Israel

Special Guests at 11:30 am show: Josh Zeid, Team Israel star and Jonathan Mayo, MLB Reporter. At 7:30 pm show, Josh and Jonathan and Ryan Lavarnway, Catcher, First Baseman, Team Israel and New York Yankees.

Tickets may be purchased at the door!
Cost: $12 public; $10 adult (member of the JCC, Mount Zion, or Temple of Aaron); $5 child. We will end Religious School early this day.

A Note to Parents: This movie is 90 minutes long and ends with the exciting drama of Israel’s baseball team winning beyond expectations. However, it is a documentary so the pacing may be slow for some kids. There is some swearing in the film (three times the “F” word is used) but no nudity, drugs, violence, etc.

This documentary is about a team of nice ­Jewish baseball players takes on the world. Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel is the David-and-Goliath story of Israel’s national baseball team as it competes for the first time in the World Baseball Classic.
