Rabbi Cohen is a noted scholar of Jewish history, most recently serving as Senior Rabbi of The Temple-Tifereth Israel in Cleveland, Ohio, following years as a Jewish educator, including as Dean of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati,Ohio.
