Naturalization Ceremony CANCELLED Wednesday.
To honor the life and legacy of President George H.W. Bush, Wednesday is a Day of Mourning and thus the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the United States Immigration and Citizenship Services will be closed on Wednesday, December 5 for the entire day. Therefore the Naturalization Ceremony we were going to host that day at 10 am has been cancelled. We will reschedule for another date in early 2019.
The Tzedek Committee is excited to announce that Mount Zion Temple will host a naturalization ceremony for new U. S. citizens. We expect anywhere between 150 and 200 new US citizens to be sworn in during the ceremony, and you are welcome to attend. If you have never witnessed a naturalization ceremony, it is a sight to behold. The enthusiasm and gratitude of those involved is palpable, and we hope you can find the time to witness this uplifting event.
