Not Your Grandmother’s Scammer! Protecting Yourself and Your Loved Ones From Identity Theft and Cybercrime

Sun January 7, 2024 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Open to everyone!

Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones against the ever increasing threat of online fraud and theft.  Scams target people of all backgrounds, education levels, ages and professions; all of us will be vulnerable to a scam at some point in our lives. And the scammers are getting smarter and taking advantage of new technology to get you to provide your personal information without you even being aware of it. See this news article for more information on current risks.

Information Security Analyst Marsha Kimes will join us in Margolis Hall for an interactive session and take us through the cyber crime current landscape, expose costly myths, and teach us best practices for protecting ourselves.

For a virtual option, join by Zoom here.

For information, contact Ellen Konstan.

Presented by Mount Zion Caring Team.  Co-sponsored by Begegenen, Brotherhood, and the Women of Mount Zion Temple.
