Please join us for this family-inclusive event, parents and kids of all ages welcome. We will reunite after taking a break during the summer. In this event we’ll be learning the ins and outs of the Havdalah service and rituals.
The Havdalah ceremony marks the end of Shabbat and ushers in the new week. It involves special traditions and rituals, and is a meaningful way to recognize the importance of Shabbat and family in the week. Whether you’re a regular observer, new to celebrating, or just curious, please join us for this opportunity to learn about Havdalah, and connect with other families.
We will have craft and games for the kids, and snacks for all. We will meet in Johnson Hall at 4:30, then join the Mount Zion Small Group Havdalah at 6pm.
