Next year the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office will spend $59 million dollars and execute policies that affect thousands of individuals and families. As Election Day draws closer, we’re committed to providing a space to inform and educate our community about the candidates running to lead this office.

Join JCA, the Decriminalizing Communities Coalition and Mount Zion Temple for a non-partisan town hall with candidates running for Ramsey County Sheriff. There will be opportunities to ask questions, and hear from the candidates.
NOTE: In the interest of holding an open conversation, we have invited both candidates for Ramsey County Sheriff: the incumbent, Jack Serier; and the challenger, Bob Fletcher. At this time, only Mr. Serier has confirmed his plan to attend. We view this event as an important opportunity for any and all candidates to engage with the community they will serve. And we will conduct a thoughtful conversation about how Ramsey County should run the Sheriff’s Office.
