Out-and-Back – 35 miles. We’ll stop in Stillwater for refreshments (there are numerous coffee shops, while a brewery is nearby for those with a yearning for something stronger).
NEW start location: Mount Zion Cemetery, 1670 Payne Avenue, St. Paul, 55117 (park along Payne Avenue, the western border of the cemetery; we will meet at the Payne Avenue gate).
NEW start time: 9:00 AM (we are adding in some time because of the break in Stillwater. Estimated time of return: 1:00 PM
Average speed: 12 MPH. The trail is relatively flat except for the descent and ascent of Brown’s Creek Trail. Except for the beginning and ending three blocks, this ride is entirely on the bicycle path.
