1926-1934. Irving Berlin married and stopped writing, and then returned with the Broadway hit Easter Parade
July 10, 7pm
1935-1945. Berlin conquered Hollywood, and wrote god bless America and the beloved Christmas song, White Christmas
August 21, 7pm
1946-1989. Berlin’s big hits were There’s No Business Like Show Business & Annie Gun. The emergence of rock and roll ended his career.
Our evenings together will begin with a brief Havdalah Service. If you miss Part 1, please know that Part 2 begins with a summary of Part 1. These ZOOM programs will benefit the WRJ YES FUND. which trains future leaders of Reform Judaism by providing scholarships for rabbinical and cantorial students, supporting youth and social justice, and strengthening the Movement in Israel and the world.
