Shabbat Services with a recognition of Jewish Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month

Fri February 18, 2022 at 6:30 pm

Mount Zion member Monique Garcia will deliver a d’var Torah linking her experience as an autistic person with the Torah portion of the week, Ki Tetze.

  • Services will take place in the sanctuary, on Zoom, Livestream on mzion.org, or Facebook Live!
  • We will have an ASL interpreter in the sanctuary (who will be visible online as well).
  • Captioning will be available on Zoom only.

Please reach out Larry Solomon for any accessibility-related questions.

Monique and her Godparents became members of Mount Zion when they moved to Saint Paul from Denver in December 2019. She describes herself as a Jewish, autistic, artsy-craftsy-musical, yogi nerd and proud cat mom with a heart of gold (and titanium, it’s an ICD-pacemaker). Monique loves studying and chanting Torah and Hebrew, anything to do with yarn, playing bass guitar, mushroom hunting, and helping her Godmom (Susan) with her holistic medicine practice, Essence Ayurveda.
