Mount Zion’s Tzedek committee is partnering with JCA to support The Home for Good Campaign –a campaign to expand the Work Release Program for low-risk folks experiencing incarceration. Work Release has been shown to significantly reduce both recidivism and homelessness. The Home for Good Campaign is hosting a vigil at the governor’s mansion on December 18th at 1:00 p.m. and participants will then walk together to Mount Zion for a potluck social directly afterward (around 1:30).
