This event will be held via Zoom.
In today’s climate, it is important that everyone is prepared to assist in the community when needed. Do you know what to do? Do you know where the first aid and AED equipment are in our temple? What are the safety protocols for our building?
John Fineberg, BA, NREMT will discuss
- how to recognize an emergency;
- how to help a victim until qualified help arrives.
- You will also learn about the Good Samaritan Law and how it protects you when providing care in an emergency. The Good Samaritan Law is intended to encourage (rather than discourage) people to help in an emergency. Knowing that it protects the general public (those people not being paid to provide care) helps people to make the positive decision to move forward (rather than backward).
