The group will plan to get together to brainstorm ideas and schedule outings. Some ideas I have are: Jewish-oriented places such as theater performances at the JCC or MN Jewish Theater; active learning at the Science Museum or Ft Snelling; service projects at Feed My Starving Children or People Serving People. The ideal number of members of the group is between 5 to 10 sets of grandparents/grandchildren. Younger or older grandchildren who are outside the age-range set for this group may be invited to join for certain activities – some outings may be more appropriate for a wider range of ages and some less so.

Destination Winter
• Date: Sunday, January 19
• Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm (or so)
• Activities: Destination Winter – with big snow slide and ice skating at Saints stadium for an hour from 11-12 followed by lunch/hot chocolate together someplace
nearby. (If it’s a super-frigid polar vortex type of day, an alternative activity will be to go to one of the museums in St Paul instead)
