We’ll initially plan to meet bi-weekly via Zoom for an hour or so. ( The group can then decide if the meeting frequency/time allotted suits our needs.) Some potential ideas/segments I have for the group: Group-generated fun “best or top 10 (fill in the blank) lists; “what new music are you listening to?” trivia activities; “my brush with rock n’ roll fame;” weekly quizzes and “surprise” topics; group discussions of local music; radio station and media/technology discussions and recommendations; book/movie recommendations; sharing our personal playlists; and perhaps some special guests! Let’s see where this takes us!

Long Live Rock! Meeting
The “Long Live Rock” group will be meeting Wednesday, April 29, at 6:00 pm at Mount Zion. We’ll meet in the lobby before heading to a space in the building.
Karaoke with the Long Live Rock MZ Small Group!
Mount Zion’s Long Live Rock small group is excited to host a Karaoke night on Saturday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Adults and young adults are all welcome. Please join us to sing, cheer on others, or just hang out. A short Havdalah service will start the evening.

Long Live Rock April Meeting
The “Long Live Rock” group will be meeting this Wednesday, April 10, at 6:30 pm at Mount Zion. We’ll meet in the lobby and then decide where we will go in the building for our meeting.
The group meets every few months and discusses rock ‘n roll music, its personalities, and cultural impacts. The focus is on the 1960s through the present. At this meeting we’ll be talking about what music we’ve been listening to since our last meeting, planning for our upcoming Karaoke night (which will be a synagogue-wide event), and enjoy hearing about current events in rock ‘n roll and Judi’s “Rock ‘n Roll Tidbits.” Questions?
