Abby Gore
Director of Youth and Young Adult Engagement
Abby Gore began as our Youth Engagement Associate on July 1, 2021. In May 2024, Abby earned her Masters of Arts in Jewish Nonprofit Management from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles. She was then promoted to Director of Youth and Young Adult Engagement. Abby was also previously an outstanding faculty member in our Religious School.
Abby designs and implements teen-specific programming, including Shabbatonim, oversees the temple’s youth groups, teaches in our religious school, and most importantly, builds critical personal relationships with our children and teens as they navigate through and past their B’nei Mitzvah years.
Abby grew up in Los Angeles at a Reform synagogue where she served as a Madricha throughout high school, participated in Confirmation and helped lead Tot Shabbat. She graduated from Macalester College in May 2021 with a BA in Religious Studies and minors in Classics and Philosophy.
