Liza Henry

Youth Engagement Director

Liza brings passion and experience to her role in supporting our youth and religious school through programming, leadership development, and mentorship.  She came to Mount Zion in 2008 and served in many youth programming and education roles before stepping into this position. In addition, Liza brings with a wealth of youth and education experience as a former naturalist (outdoor educator), OSRUI staff member, NFTY in Israel leader, and special education teaching assistant.  Liza grew up in the Chicago-area where she spent much of her time in youth group and served as NFTY-CAR President.  After high school, Liza spent a gap-year in Israel on Young Judaea Yearcourse.  Liza Henry received her BS in Environmental Science Policy and Management from the University of Minnesota, and studied Education at Hamline University.  Liza lives in St. Paul with her husband, Patrick.
